GRANADA

Granada – Spain at its best with hills – skiing – wine tasting – culture and ocean!

Travelling to Granada together has several advantages. The experiences are many and varied, and there is a lot of stuff to see and do – something for everyone. Go Conference&Incentives, together with our closely selected partners in Granada, has a lot of experience and competence. Granada is one of our absolute favourites! GO Conference&Incentives customises the event according to your wishes.

Granada is tapas, pub life, culture, beaches and skiing, in a wonderful combination. Granada is situated in Andalucía, southern Spain, at the end of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and the city is one of the prettiest in Spain.
Granada has been formed by the hills where the old districts Albaicín and Alhambra where founded. They are filled with steep, narrow alleys, beautiful angles and nooks and astounding landscaping. The castle and fort area of Alhambra is complete with orchards and palaces.

This medieval complex is as like a fairy-tale and famous for its beauty. Today it is considered one of the best architectonic works in the world and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Arab Old Town of Albacin, which is like a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and white houses with hidden courtyards.

Granada's skiing slopes in Sierra Nevada are around 40 km from the centre. Here, you can find pistes for all skiers and other activities. Being in beautiful Sierra Nevada and taking in the wonderful atmosphere here is an experience in itself. When the weather is clear, you can see all the way to Morocco! GO Conference&Incentives has several suggestions for activities and spending a full day on the spot. Combining conference, skiing and a spa is a highlight..

Granada is so much more. After a one hour transfer to the beaches next to Malaga, you will arrive in a ”different world” – one of our most popular full day trips for business groups, among others, is starting the day with half a day skiing in Sierra Nevada, then later going to the coast for lunch at the beach and enjoying the sea!
There are several popular and cosy vineyards in the district around Granada – GO Conference&Incentives guides you to some selected ones with very good wines.

Granada is the third largest university city in Spain, and there is a lot to do in the evenings - clubs, concerts, tapas bars and restaurants. Granada is also famous for its sweets and Serrano ham.

Direct flights to Malaga with Norwegian several times and direct flights with SAS once a week. Transfer is around one hour to Granada.
