LISABON

Lisbon – the city of contrasts, close to nature, golf, Estoril and Cascais!

Lisbon is one of GO Conference&Incentives absolute favourites with a wide and a well established offer for all kinds of group events. Choosing to go to Lisbon or its vicinity is always an appreciated choice, and together with some of our specifically chosen cooperation partners will GO Conference&Incentives prepare what is best for exactly you. Through experience we know that one event is different to the next.

Portugal's capital Lisbon is beautifully situated on seven hills next to the north side of the bay Mar del Palha where the river Tejo flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Lisbon is a city of waves, wind, fish and ships.  The climate is mild all year round, attracting Scandinavian visitors.

In Lisbon, the outdoor restaurants fill up early, and people stroll on the beaches. The city has become an even more popular holiday destination during the last years. It is a small metropolis, safe and easy to orientate in, and with relatively low prices. Lately, Portugal has become a central place when it comes to big conferences, events, sport events and big political meetings. Go Conference&Incentives always stays updated with the latest happenings. We can even arrange your field trips.

A cosy and original way to see Lisbon is to hire one of the city's well-known trams that crawl through small, narrow alleys. Go up to one of the seven hills for a nice lunch and enjoy a spectacular view. Other ways of spending the day can be wine tasting, diving, learning to surf, shopping or taking a salsa course.
Just like other big cities, Lisbon has a big night life. The city is bustling with trendy night clubs and bars, as well clubs with the enchanting Portuguese blues music called fado.
The beautiful city of Sintra in the hills right outside Lisbon is a unique place. In the area you can find big mansions, the fantastic palace Pena, the royal palace and lush orchards. A jeep safari is another fun and exciting way to discover the city.

Other interesting and attractive excursions involve going to the popular swimming resort of Estoril or the old fishermen’s village Cascais. Both are cosy small cities with cobblestone streets, palms and picturesque. The beach seldom spreads out over longer stretches, but is enclosed between wharves, small boat harbours and impressive villas. An evening at Estorils Casino is a highlight – several James Bond movies have been filmed here!

In Lisbon you can find food from all over the world on the city's menus. The traditional food culture from Portugal has strong influences from former colonies in South America, Africa and Asia.

Daily direct flights with TAP Air Portugal.
